School Based Services
At Tiny Hands Therapy, our school-based Occupational Therapists (OTs) utilize therapeutic activities to enhance a student's ability to function within the school setting. Our interventions may include direct services to target specific skills or adjustments to the school environment. We serve students from TK-12 in both general education and special day classes. Our services include push-in, pull-out, consultation, assessments, and support for Individualized Educational Program (IEP) meetings.

IEE Assessments
At Tiny Hands Pediatric Therapy, we know the importance of understanding a student's needs and abilities in order to develop effective and appropriate services. That’s why we offer Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) to assist the members of the Individualized Educational Program (IEP) team in determining the most appropriate services for students. We deliver comprehensive test results and a written report, as well as present the assessment during IEP meetings. In collaboration with the IEP team, we establish recommended services and goals that best meet the student's needs.
Contracted Occupational Therapy Services for Schools
At Tiny Hands Therapy, we partner with school districts across California to provide contracted, school-based occupational therapy services for students with special education needs. Our licensed occupational therapists deliver evidence-based support within the educational setting, collaborating with IEP teams to help students access and participate meaningfully in their school environment.
We support students with a wide range of developmental and physical needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disabilities. Services focus on sensory regulation, fine and gross motor development, handwriting, adaptive tools, and visual motor integration to promote functional independence and academic success.
